Providing Psychological Testing for the Leeward Side of Oahu

I completed my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, My Master's Degree in Psychology Research at California State University, Long Beach and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My doctoral mentor was Daniel Allen, PhD who specializes in neuropsychology, particularly in how severe mental illness is associated with different neuropsychological components. I have several publications from my graduate work in the area of schizophrenia, PTSD, and neuropsychology.

I completed my internship and post-doctoral training 7 years ago at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center where I am still employed full-time. At the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, I provide individual and family therapy to all ages, in addition to being in charge of the psychological assessment program and grants in the behavioral health department. We currently have several more publications in progress regarding a new measure for stress and coping developed for this community and how stress is related to physical health outcomes in women and their children. This work is in collaboration with University of Hawaii John A Burns School Of Medicine faculty, primarily May Okihiro, M. D., and Deborah Goebert, Dr. P. H.

My private practice is conveniently located in Kapolei on the street behind Costco (Lauwiliwili) where I exclusively provide psychological assessments for a variety of referral questions.
